For this year’s Kips Bay Show House, a modern villa on a private road in the West Palm Beach “SoSo” neighborhood, Mondi has reimagined the primary bath and dressing room into the ultimate retreat for the international man of mystery, where James Bond sheds his tough exterior and recharges in a space designed for sophistication and intrigue. This 007-inspired primary bath and dressing room seamlessly blend bold design with luxurious comfort.

The room is anchored by two striking marbles from Materials Bespoke Stone + Tile. Their Nero and Azul marble is installed in a striped pattern that runs across the floors and ascends the floating wall, creating a dynamic visual impact. Polished nickel fittings add a touch of sparkle, enhancing the room's overall allure. A custom-carved marble vanity and console, crafted from the same azul marble, exudes opulence and provides a sleek space for Bond's grooming rituals.

Edgy details abound, with spiked mirrors and suspended towel bars adding a contemporary and adventurous flair. The tall ceilings, once lofty, are brought down to a more intimate scale with plaster moldings from Hyde Park Moldings, their color harmonizing with the walls and ceiling for a cohesive and relatable atmosphere.

In the dressing room, leather panels sourced from Keleen Leather mimic traditional millwork, while velvet draperies from The Shade Store introduce an element of softness. A vintage Italian armoire, collected from the international spy’s travels, stands as a testament to his worldly sophistication. The EnVie Collection by Donna Mondi contributes a bespoke barrel chair, providing a space where James can momentarily shed his persona and simply be a man. A strategically placed bar cart ensures his favorite martini is always within reach.
