This family of three hired us to manage the selection process for their new-construction custom home, to be sure it turned out exactly as they had hoped. They were looking for light, bright, transitional style interiors, with colors only added in furnishings, artwork, and accessories. We pulled the client’s love of gray and white throughout the home to blend the spaces seamlessly but had some fun creating different emotions in each room. We first finished the kitchen, breakfast room, and family room, as these were the top priority. A few years later and as styles evolved, we began the second phase of finishing the living room, dining room, and powder room. Gold tones played a large part but blended well with the neutral backdrops. With the freedom to mix metals, warm and cool tones, and so many different textures, the end result was one the clients couldn’t be happier with!
